Caitlin Compton

Caitlin Compton ( born November 7, 1980) is an American cross-country skier and biathlete.

Caitlin Compton grew the first years of her life in New York City. At age nine, she moved with her ​​family to Warren, Vermont and attended college in Marquette, Michigan. She began her career in 2001 as a cross-country skier in the North America Cup. Already in its third race, a 10 -kilometer race, it reached a top ten finish in seventh. Despite several good results Compton not made ​​the jump to the cross-country World Cup. Therefore, she moved in 2007 to the sport of biathlon.
