Caleb Ross

Caleb Ross ( born December 10, 1981 in Whangarei, New Zealand) is a New Zealand actor whose greatest success was the role of Lex in the science fiction series The Tribe. In 1998, he played Logan Patterson in the New Zealand series Shortland Street also. He had also included two guest appearances in the series Xena, which is attributed to the fantasy genre. To this end, he is an avid musician who also owns numerous guitars.

Biography

Ross was one of eight children and has performed at the age of nine years in the musical theater in his hometown. At the Whangerei amateur opera, he participated in stage productions such as Godspell, Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita and Peter Pan.

His father finally asked him one agent to the side, when he was cast in the non- well-written short film Devondale Dogs 1994. So a little later he appeared in a McDonald's advertising. At 14 he had his first screen kiss in the series Shortland Street. He was casted for The Tribe Series in 1999 and won the role of Lex, the one selfish macho, who realizes too late that Tai San ( Michelle Ang ) is his true love embodies. He is the only actor of the Tribe who plays a part in all the episodes from season 1-5, with the exception of a sequence.

Later he sang with his acting colleagues Dwayne Cameron and Daniel James, a song This Is The Place, starring Meryl Cassie the song Abe Messiah. There, however, sang with all the cast members from The Tribe. He was interviewed in the New Zealand TV show The Big Breakfast in 2001.
