Calibre (software)

Calibre is a free software suite for processing and managing e -book data for Linux, Mac OS X and Windows. In many Linux distributions can install directly from the standard package sources the software.

History

Kovid Goyal began development on 31 October 2006, during the U.S. launch of the E -book Reader PRS - 500 from Sony, initially without a GUI, and under the name " libprs500 ".
