Call Duck

The Pygmy Goose is one of the Mallard ( Anas platyrhynchos) derived duck race, which with its "gnome way puppigen " shape corresponds to the baby schema and also noticeable by their cheeky and naughty nature.

Origin

The origins of the breed are unknown, but they were " bred by racy " in England. Their English name " Duck Call " is derived for the case of the Dutch word " kooi ". Call ducks are powerfully and have a high, far-reaching and enduring reputation. They were first used by Dutch hunters as decoy. This tied the tame ducks laid at the entrance of the event and the more cried the little ducks, the more wild ducks lured into a trap or in front of the gun, and so secured the hunting success of their owner.

Description

The very lively ducks this breed left a very dwarfish impression with the rounded hull and a large, round head.
