Callanetics

Callanetics is a building designed by Callan Pinckney in the 1980's gymnastics program, which aims to strengthen especially the deep muscles. Through gentle, repetitive motion, the muscles are strengthened and the entire body will be streamlined to build or to burden the spine without muscle packages. Pinckney intended with the exercises an effective muscle training with relaxing movements and exercises.

This form of movement is a mixture of ballet, gymnastics and yoga; they do is aimed at building muscle and increasing the ability to stretch.
