During the marketing of Windows 95, there have been efforts to equip Windows 3.x with a modern interface. 1997 was released the first version of Calmira. This program is similar, as well as his start menu, the surface of Windows 95 is fully managed initialization (instead of via entries in the system registry ), most settings can be accessed directly via the options settings. Calmira requires no installation, simply start an entry in the " SYSTEM.INI " file in the system directory. When you first start it imported on request, the program groups and settings from the Program Manager. It can also be used for test purposes without system integration parallel to the Program Manager.
