Calocaerus

Calocaerus (Greek Καλόκαιρος Kalokairos; † 334 at Tarsus ) was magister pecoris camelorum ( "Lord of the small cattle and camels ") of the Roman Emperor Constantine in Cyprus. 333/34, he rebelled against Constantine and proclaimed himself emperor. The censor Flavius ​​Dalmatius, a half-brother of Constantine, struck down the imposition of Calocaerus and put him and his supporters at Tarsus in Cilicia in court. Calocaerus was eventually executed in 334, for the reign of Constantine however, he had never represented a serious threat.
