Camarón de Tejeda
Camarón de Tejeda is a city in the Mexican state of Veracruz and seat of the local administration. The name refers to the large number of shrimp (Spanish camarón ) that occur in the area in a small river.
History
Camarón de Tejeda was the scene of the battle of Camerone between the Mexican Army and the French Foreign Legion on April 30, 1863.
