Cambio 16

Cambio 16 is a Spanish weekly magazine on general topics.

She was from the dictatorship of Francisco Franco to the consolidation of democracy an important medium during the Spanish transition. Modeled on the American Time and the German mirror, she first appeared on 22 September 1971. Cambio 16 included any kind of information, but especially those on political issues, and was characterized by a significantly liberal democratic point of view.

Several issues of the magazine were seized by the pre-democratic authorities who had influence in the government in 1978 until the entry into force of the Spanish Constitution. Cambio 16 was, technically and journalistically, at the height of the operations and needs of the media landscape in the post-Franco Spain. The success of Cambio 16 led to the establishment of sister media such as Diario 16, a daily newspaper with a national main output and various regional editions, Radio 16, motor 16, etc. They are run by the Grupo 16 all.
