Camden County (Georgia)
The Camden County is a county located in the state of Georgia in the United States. Administrative office ( County Seat) is Woodbine.
Geography
The County is located in the extreme southeast of Georgia, on the east by the Atlantic Ocean, on the south by Florida and has an area of 2027 square kilometers, of which 395 square kilometers are water surface; It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Charlton County, Brantley County and Glynn County.
History
Camden County was formed as the second county in Georgia on February 5, 1777 Original County. It was named after Charles Pratt, Earl of Camden, an English Lord Chancellor.

The average household size was 2.84 and the average family size was 3.22 persons.
31.7 percent of the population were under 18 years old, 12.9 percent between 18 to 24, 33.9 percent between 25 and 44, 16.3 percent between 45 and 64 and 5.2 percent were 65 years or older. The average age was 28 years. For every 100 females there were statistically 107.0 males to 100 females age 18 and over, there were 108.5 males.
The median income for a household was $ 41,056, and the median income for a family $ 45,005. Males have a median income of $ 31,582, women $ 22,104. The per capita income was $ 16,445. 8.4 percent of families and 10.1 percent of the population lived below the poverty line.
