Camera is a Canadian short film directed by David Cronenberg from the year 2000.

Action

While a former actor muses film about aging, death, and their relationship with the media, brings together a group of children film and sound equipment in the apartment, she found somewhere. The children set up a camera and audio device and make a film with the old man.

Background

Camera was created to mark the 25th anniversary of the Toronto International Film Festival. Leading actor Leslie Carlson had already in Cronenberg's Videodrome (1983). Likewise, Howard Shore and Ronald Sanders are some of Cronenberg's regular employees. The film was shot on digital video material, only the last setting of the film was shot on 35mm film.

Camera is included on the U.S. Blu -ray release of the film Videodrome Criterion of the company.
