Cameri-Theater

The Cameri Theatre is a theater in Tel Aviv, Israel. Officially, it was founded in 1945, but some productions of the theater companies had already been produced earlier. It is one of the most important theaters in the country. The house is to be a " theater with social responsibility ". Every year there are nine to ten premieres, and over a million people visit the performances annually. It also has many guest appearances abroad.

In May 2011, however, the Cameri Theatre said a planned guest performance in Antalya, Turkey from pro-Palestinian groups because of the announced protests against the appearance.

The theater represents many pieces of world famous authors such as William Shakespeare, Bertolt Brecht and Ibsen, as well as by Israeli writers such as Hanoch Levin

The actors of the theater companies include Yossi Yadin, Hanna Maron and Orna Porat. Today, the theater house is located at the center of the performing arts in addition to the Tel -Aviv Museum.
