Cameron Mann

Cameron Mann ( born April 20, 1977 in Thompson, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who plays for the Nottingham Panthers in the EIHL since 2009. Former club stations included the Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League. His greatest successes were the Calder Cup win with the Providence Bruins in 1999 and winning the German Ice Hockey Cup with the ERC Ingolstadt in 2005.

Career

Mann began his career in 1993 in the Canadian Junior Football League Ontario Hockey League with the Peterborough Petes, where the winger in his first game time belonged to the tribe squad and was able to achieve 27 points scorer in 56 games. In the following years, the Canadians succeeded to increase its yield points steadily. His best season was the game year 1995/96, when he scored 145 points in the 90 games in which he was employed. During the NHL Entry Draft in 1995, the leaders of the Boston Bruins opted for the right-handed shooters and chose him in the fourth round at 99th overall position.

Man stopped then two more seasons in the OHL before moving in summer 1997 in the National Hockey League for the Boston Bruins. The Bruins put the attacker, however, often at their farm team, the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League, from, so he came up with only nine missions in the highest North American professional league in his first NHL season. Instead, graduated Man 79 AHL games and scored 47 points scorer. During 1998/ 99, the Canadians won with the Providence Bruins Calder Cup, the championship of the American Hockey League. Man played a major role in this success, as he scored for the first time more than he completed games.

Born in Manitoba man stood until 2001 when the Bruins under contract and then moved to the Utah Grizzlies in the AHL. There, however, the striker had only one season and took in the summer of 2002, a contract offer from the Nashville Predators. However, management of the Predators put him, as before, the Boston Bruins, often only in the AHL at their farm team, the Milwaukee Admirals. Man decided after the expiry of his contract in 2003 for a move to Europe, where the ERC Ingolstadt became aware of the then 26 -year-old from the German Hockey League and transferred him to Germany. From the fans and journalists, he was also nominated for the DEL All-Star Game in 2004 in Ingolstadt. There, the attacker "Team DEL All- Star" ran for the on and scored the Assist for interim 2-2. At the end of the 2006/07 season, his contract was not renewed in Ingolstadt and man joined the Finnish first division club Ilves Tampere on, who provided him with a one-year contract, which in the end was also not renewed. In Finland, the attackers came in 43 games available for use, scoring 21 points scorer. In the following period, Canadian-born remained a long time without a club, took him before the foxes Duisburg under contract and to the cooperation partner, the Herner EV from the Oberliga, duties, 2007.

Thus, the DEA received an option to invoke Cameron man at any time in the DEL team.
