Cameroon national basketball team

The Cameroon national basketball team represents the men in Cameroon international basketball games. After the Cameroonian selection to 2007 only three could participate in continental finals of the African Cup of Nations, it has since been a regular participant in the Continental Championships. In its early days and the later football official Issa Hayatou was a member of the selection. At their first qualifying for the finals after 15 years, she won a silver medal in 2007. However, since only gold medalist Angola was directly qualified for the 2008 Olympics, you had to in an additional qualifying tournament in which they lost the two preliminary round games against Croatia and Puerto Rico. So you missed the first part in a global finals, for which you previously could not qualify even for the next African Cup of Nations.
