Camfil

Camfil (until 2012 Camfil Farr ) is a company in the field of clean air technology and air filter production. There is a separate product development, R & D and regional offices on all continents. The group Camfil is the largest manufacturer of air filters in all particle classes, with a total of 23 production. It will be developed, produced and distributed filter products for buildings, schools, museums, airports, hospitals, food and nutrient industry, pharmaceutical industry, nuclear power, chemical, petrochemical and automotive industries.

History

The company was founded in 1963 by Gösta Larson Camfil AB. In the same year, the company agreed a joint venture with Cambridge, USA. In the following period subsidiaries in Germany (1966 ), Switzerland (1969 ), Denmark ( 1972), Holland (1973 ), Belgium ( 1974), Italy (1975 ), France (1976 ), Finland (1979 ) and England were (1982 ) was founded.

With Jan Eric Larson, who was chairman from 1983, took over Camfil 1985, the Irish company Allied Filters & Pumps and 1989, the French and the American Sofiltra filtration. After the establishment of a Swedish and a Spanish subsidiary in 1995 was followed by further acquisitions: 1997 Automet Filtration Ltd, England, 1998 Industri Filter AB, Sweden and 1999 Delcon Filtration Group Inc., Canada.

In 2000, the Australian Camfil Pty Ltd and the Polish Polska Sp zoo Camfil founded and took over the American Farr Co.. A year later, Alan O'Connell CEO of the company and it was founded in New Zealand another subsidiary, in 2004, Camfil, Thailand. The company expanded in the following years production and sales locations, including Russia, Brazil, Mexico and Slovakia. 2006 Australia Air Filters, Kaefer Raco and IF was acquired air filter.

Products

The product range includes standard filter for the air conditioning and ventilation technology to highly specialized filters for applications that are extremely sensitive to air pollution. Camfil filters are used daily around the world are used to filter high efficiency pollutants of all kinds and in all particle sizes from the air.

The products are divided into the following areas of application:

The main product groups are coarse dust filter, dust filter, HEPA filter, molecular filters, filter housing & mounting systems.
