Camfranglais

Camfranglais is the Cameroonian variant of the French language.

It competes in the urban centers of Cameroon as a lingua franca with the Kamtok called Pidgin, which is formed on the basis of English. Camfranglais came up in the 1970s and is especially popular with young people, which is due to the fact that many regionally popular musicians make use of this language. In addition to the official languages , there are over 250 languages in Cameroon, and it is continually confusions between official working languages and regional languages. In Camfranglais French grammar is not significantly changed, so that native French speakers from other countries can understand the Camfranglais when to learn some words borrowed from other languages . Although the neologism suggests that there is a synthesis of the French and English, a few words are but borrowed from English or Kamtok.
