Camilla Andersen

Camilla Roseler Andersen ( born July 5, 1973 in Gentofte, Denmark ) is a former Danish handball player. The 1.69 m long player was used primarily on the position back center of the room.

Career

Camilla came over the clubs Virum Sorgenfri HK, FIF and North beach IL, for German Bundesliga side SV Buxtehude. Between 1993 and 1996, the right-handed scored 446 goals in 74 games for the BSV. The greatest success during this time was winning the Euro -City Cup 1994.

After Camilla then spent a season with the Norwegian club SK Bækkelagets Oslo, she returned back to Denmark to FIF. After a total of 4 seasons, she moved to Slagelse FH, with whom she could win the EHF Champions League. In April 2005, Camilla finished with FCK Håndbold her career. In the years 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003, she was Torschützenkonigin in the Danish league.

Your international debut in the Danish national team gave Camilla on 12 February 1992. With 846 goals in 194 international games she's scorer of their country. With the Danish selection, she won two Olympic gold medals, one World Cup and two European Championships.

2012 Andersen was admitted as the 27th member of the Hall of Fame of the Danish Sports.

Private

Her parents Gert Andersen and Toni Roseler Andersen were both former handball player. Her twin sister Charlotte Andersen also played handball in the highest Danish league.

In 2000, Camilla married the Norwegian Women's Handball Mia Hundvin. After three years of marriage, they separated.
