Campbeltown Loch is a bay on the southeast coast of the Kintyre peninsula in Scotland. At its head is the town of Campbeltown, from which derives its name; the middle of the entrance is the uninhabited tidal island Davaar. Campbeltown Loch opens towards east to Kilbrannan Sound, a branch of the Firth of Clyde. The bay extends about three kilometers into the land and has a maximum width of about 1.5 km. Campbeltown Loch is subject to the tides. At low tide Davaar is accessible via a gravel strip on foot. To the south of Campbeltown Loch begins the Mull of Kintyre.
