Camryn Grimes

Camryn Elizabeth Grimes ( born January 7, 1990 in Van Nuys, California) is an American actress.

Life

Camryn Grimes is the daughter of Preston Lee and Heather Grimes. Camryn has six siblings, four sisters and two brothers. She is of Irish and German descent.

She is known for her role as Cassie Newman in the television series Young and the Restless, which she played from 1997. In 2000, she won a Daytime Emmy for this role and was thus at the age of 10 years, the youngest winner in the category Best Young Actress in a Drama Series. In May 2005, Grimes character in the series died from injuries sustained in a car accident. Since leaving the series, she had Cassie's mind as guest appearances in the 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010.

In 2001, Grimes played the role of Holly in the movie Swordfish with Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and John Travolta.
