Can Bonomo

Can Bonomo ( born May 16, 1987 in Izmir) is a Turkish singer. He represented Turkey at the Euro Vision Song Contest in 2012.

Bonomo's family comes from the Sephardic Jews who found refuge in the Ottoman Empire before the Spanish Inquisition in the 15th century. The Bonomo settled in Izmir. Since the age of eight Bonomo plays guitar. In 2011 he released his first album Meczup.

The English-language song Love Me Back on May 24, he managed to move into the two days later held the final of the Euro Vision Song Contest in Baku. There he finished in 7th place with 112 points.
