Canada women's national volleyball team

The Canadian national volleyball team of women is a selection of the best Canadian players who represents the Association Volleyball Canada in international tournaments and international matches.

History

World cup

1974 in Mexico, Canadians began participating in a volleyball World Cup and finished eleventh. Four years later, they finished 14th place, after which they were again eleventh. 1986 and 1990 they reached the places 15 and 14 they were again In the 2002 World Cup there, but did not come on the 17th rank out.

Olympic games

For the Games in 1976, Canada was the worst of eight teams despite home advantage. The same result, there were 1984 in Los Angeles. At the tournament in 1996, the Canadian women occupied the ninth.

NORCECA Championship

In the first NORCECA Championship in 1969 the Canadians missed fourth just a medal, but in 1973 they lost only in the final against Cuba. World Cup

World Grand Prix
