Canal 13 (Chile)

Canal 13 (Channel 13 TV ), formerly known as Corporación de Televisión de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile ( UCTV ) ( TV company, the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile), is the second oldest television station in Chile. It is operated by the Luksic Group and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. Due to the strong influence of the Catholic Church, therefore, the transmitter is considered conservative.

The broadcast schedule was on 21 August 1959.

The program of Canal 13 is dominated by local shows, national and regional telenovelas, reality shows, newscasts and other programs. Canal 13 is one of the most watched channels in the country.
