Canal de las Estrellas

Canal de las Estrellas (also known as XEW - TV) is one of the major television networks in Latin America. The broadcast center is located in Mexico City and has several relay stations throughout the Mexican territory.

Canal de las Estrellas belongs to the group of companies Grupo Televisa. In November 1951 Canal de las Estrellas went on the air. 1955 was the first live transmission in Mexico, a baseball game from the 25,000 -seater stadium Parque Deportivo del Seguro Social in Colonia Narvarte of Mexico City. In this show were Roberto De la Rosa (camera), Roberto Kenny (Director), Germán Adalid ( assistant) and Pedro Septien (nicknamed " El mago ") of the commentator.

Today, Canal de las Estrellas is considered the largest TV stations with the highest television audience share in Mexico and is also the main channel of Grupo Televisa. Canal de las Estrellas can also be received via satellite in Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Emilio Azcarraga Jean is the current president.
