Canararctia rufescens (depending on the view also Rhyparia rufescens ) is a butterfly (moth ) from the subfamily of the tiger moths ( Arctiinae ).

Description
The wingspan is 48 to 66 millimeters. The coloration is variable, ranging from gray-brown to brown to reddish brown. The male has twice combed sensor and is significantly smaller than the female. At the front edge of the forewing sit four dark spots in approximately the same distance. In addition, a small, black Diskalfleck available. The hind wings have generally the same color as the fore wings, but are a little lighter.

Occurrence

Flight time

Way of life
