Cancor

Cancor, also Kankor, Chancor, Chancorone, Chanchurone († 771/nach 782 ), Earl was in Alemannia and then from 758 to his death in the upper Rheingau. He came from the family of the Robertiner, his father was Count or Duke Rupert / Robert I from Haspengau, his mother Williswint ( h) / Williswinda. He and his mother donated 763/764 the monastery of Lorsch as own monastery. He was married to a Angilo. His two daughters Rachilt and Eufemia went into the monastery Lorsch, his son home Rich ( Heimo ) ( † 795 ), his successor.
