Candice Dupree

Candice Dupree ( born August 16, 1984 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, United States) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the Chicago Sky in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Career

College

Candice Dupree played from 2003 to 2006 for the women's basketball team at Temple University.

Women's National Basketball Association

Candice Dupree was selected by the Chicago Sky in the WNBA Draft overall sixth position in 2006. Thus Dupree is the very first draft pick in the history of Sky. Dupree has been one of their first WNBA season to key players in the Sky. In her rookie season in 2006 it has already been elected to the Eastern All-Star team. Despite their good performance, they missed the playoffs with the sky clear what is also related that this was only the first season of the Sky. Also during the 2007 season played Dupree again a good season, they even managed to cut their points from 13.7 to 16.5 points per game increase. Furthermore, Dupree was re-elected in the Eastern All-Star team this season. However, they also missed this season with the Sky the playoffs clear.

In season break the WNBA Dupree plays as many WNBA players in Europe. In the season 2006-2007 she played for the intermission ONLY Kazan in the Russian league, and 2007-2008 for the TS Wisła Can- Pack Kraków in the Polish league.
