Candy Reynolds

Candy Reynolds ( born March 24, 1955) is a former American tennis player.

Career

In their active professional career Reynolds won first in 1979 with Sue Barker in the women's doubles WTA Pittsburgh in 1983 with her doubles partner Rosalyn Fairbank in women's doubles at the French Open. They decided the match in three sets against Kathy Jordan and Anne Smith with 5:7, 7:5, 6:2 for themselves. Candy Reynolds still reached the finals of the Australian Open 1980 ( with Ann Kiyomura ) and the French Open in 1981 ( with Paula Smith). The American reached rank 50 in the single (1983) and ranked 24th in the double (1986 ) their highest rankings in the world rankings. Your best performance in singles at Grand Slam tournaments she had at the Australian Open in 1980, when they advanced all the way to the quarterfinals.
