Cangwu County

Cangwu (苍梧 县) is a county of the prefecture-level city on the eastern edge of Wuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the People's Republic of China. It has an area of 2782 km ² and has 550 368 inhabitants ( census 2010). Its main town is the large village Shiqiao (石桥镇).

The former residence of Li Jishen (Li Jishen guju李济深 故居) is since 1996 on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China ( 4-224 ).

Administrative Divisions

After the administrative reform in February 2013, when Cangwu significantly reduced ( see: City District Longxu ), the circle of nine large communities is composed. These are:

• Greater community Shiqiao (石桥镇), the seat of county government;
• Greater community Jingnan (京 南镇);
• Greater community Libu (梨 埠镇);
• Greater community Lingjiao (岭脚 镇);
• Greater community Liubu (六 堡镇);
• Greater community Mushuang (木 双 镇);
• Greater community Shatou (沙头 镇);
• Greater community Shizhai (狮 寨镇);
• Greater community Wangfu (旺 甫 镇).
