Canoas is a city in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul and belongs to the metropolitan region of Porto Alegre. With 333 322 inhabitants, the city is located in Brazil on 67th. The city is divided into 18 districts. It lies on the banks of the Rio dos Sinos Gravataí and Rio, 8 m above sea level.
