The Canon EOS 1200D is a digital SLR camera ( DSLR) Canon, which was officially announced on February 11, 2014 ( in Japan as the EOS Kiss X70 in the U.S. EOS Rebel T5). The market launch in Germany is planned for the end of March 2014.

Technical Features

The EOS 1200D is the mid-2011 introduced 1100D replaced as the simplest model. The image sensor triggers now 18.0 instead of 12.2 megapixels. The resolution corresponds to the current 700D and 7D.

Other enhancements include the increase of resolution in video mode of 1280 × 720 720p 1080p 1920 × 1080, as they have the larger Canon models for some time.
