Canon Yaoundé

Canon Sportif de Yaoundé, shortly Canon Yaoundé, is a football club based in Yaoundé, the capital of Cameroon.

History

The club was founded in 1930 with nine championships and eleven cup victories one of the most successful football clubs in Cameroon. In addition, Canon succeeded in Yaoundé three times to win the CAF Champions League. Four times you stood in the African Cup Winners' Cup finals, but succeeded only once, in 1979, the victory.

The in the club colors of red and green playing team shares the stadium Omnisports Ahmadou Ahidjo, which offers 65,000 spectators, with local rivals Tonnerre Yaoundé.
