Canopus Corporation

Canopus was a manufacturer of hardware and software for the collection and non-linear editing of videos.

The company in 1983 in Kobe ( Japan) as Canopus Co. Ltd.. been established. The company was operating worldwide with offices in Australia, China, Germany, Great Britain and the United States. It is named after the star Canopus.

In early 2006, has been adopted by the Thomson Grass Valley Broadcast & Networking company.
