Canton of Carpentras-Sud

The canton of Carpentras -Sud is a French administrative unit of the arrondissements Carpentras, in the Vaucluse region of Provence -Alpes- Côte d' Azur region. Capital is Carpentras. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 1982, Jean -Michel Ferrand ( UMP).

The canton is 118.71 km ² and has 35,212 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 297 inh. / Km ².
