Canton of Cavaillon

The Canton of Cavaillon is a French administrative unit for the district of Apt, in the Vaucluse region of Provence -Alpes- Côte d' Azur region. Capital is Cavaillon. Until 1926, the canton belonged to the Arrondissement Avignon. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2008, Jean -Baptiste Blanc ( UMP).

The canton is 150.35 km ² and has 39 557 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 263 inh. / Km ².
