Canton of Friville-Escarbotin

The Canton Friville -Escarbotin is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Abbeville, in the department of the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Friville -Escarbotin. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2011 David Lefèvre ( MoDem ).

Geography

The Canton Friville -Escarbotin is 5,648 hectares ( 56.48 km ²) in size and has 12,046 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of around 213 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 72 m high, between 27 m and 129 m in Nibas in Fressenneville.
