Canton of L'ÃŽle-Rousse
The Canton of L'Île -Rousse is a French administrative unit of the arrondissements Calvi, in the Haute- Corse region of Corsica. Its main town is L' Ile- Rousse.
The canton is 3,880 hectares ( 38.80 km ²) in size and has 5743 inhabitants ( 1999), which corresponds to a population density of 144 inhabitants per km ². On average, it lies 178 meters above sea level, 0-561 meters.
