Canton of Moreuil

The Canton Moreuil is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Montdidier, surrounded by the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Moreuil. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 1988 Pierre Boulanger (DVD).

Geography

The Canton Moreuil is 18 287 ha ( 182.87 km ²) in size and has 11,388 inhabitants (as of 1999), which corresponds to a population density of about 62 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 70 m high, between 32 m in Domart -sur -la -Luce and 115 m in Contoire.
