Canton of Nouvion

The Canton Nouvion is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement of Abbeville, in the department of the Somme and in the Picardie region; its chief town is Nouvion. Representatives of the General Council of the department since 2008, Jean -Claude Buisine (PS).

Geography

The Canton Nouvion is 16,760 ha ( 167.60 km ²) in size and has (1999), 7452 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 44 inhabitants per km ². He is on average 25 m high, between 0 m in Noyelles -sur -Mer and 102 m in Gapennes.
