Canton of Pont-de-l'Arche
The Canton of Pont -de- l'Arche is a French administrative unit in the arrondissement Les Andelys, in the Eure and in the Haute -Normandie; its chief town is Pont -de- l'Arche, Representative to the General Council of the department since 2004 Gaëtan Levitre.
Geography
The Canton of Pont -de- l'Arche is 8,734 hectares ( 87.34 km ²) in size and has (1999) 13,367 inhabitants, which corresponds to a population density of 153 inhabitants per km ². He is on average at 56 meters above sea level, between 2 m in Les Damps and 159 m in Montaure.
