Cantor medal

The Georg Cantor Medal is awarded every second year for a maximum outstanding scientific achievements in mathematics. It was donated by the German Mathematical Society (DMV) in memory of Georg Cantor ( 1845-1918 ).

The winners are to be connected to the German language area. Proposals can bring all members of the DMV. The Georg Cantor Medal is awarded by decision of the Presidium of the DMV along with a certificate at an annual meeting of the DMV.
