Cao Teng

Cao Teng (Chinese曹 腾, Pinyin Cao Teng ), farm name ( Zi) JI Xing (Chinese季 兴, JI Xing Pinyin ), was a eunuch of the late Han Dynasty. He served four emperors Shun ( 125-144 ), Chong ( 144-145 ), Zhi ( 145-146 ) and Huan ( 146-168 ) as a harem guard and rose to the highest Eunuchenrang his time, for Dachangqiu (大 长 秋).

Cao Teng, son of Cao Jie (曹 节), had no biological children from prior reasons. He adopted a son, Cao Song, who later became the father of the warlord Cao Cao. From his successor Cao Pi, the first emperor of the Wei Dynasty, Cao Teng was awarded the posthumous title Emperor Gao (高) by Wei
