Cap Raeder

Robert "Cap " Raeder ( born October 8, 1953 in Portland, Maine ) is a former American professional ice hockey goaltender and current coach. He is currently one of the assistant coach of the Tampa Bay Lightning. During the 2002/ 03 season, he was interim head coach of the San Jose Sharks for a game.

Career

Raeder first played from the 1972/73 season at the University of New Hampshire. In the summer of 1973 he was also selected in the WHA Amateur Draft by the New England Whalers in both the NHL Amateur Draft by the Montreal Canadiens as. Raeder remained until 1975, but in New Hampshire. After playing in the North American Hockey League in the 1975/76 season for the time being, he ran for two games at the Whalers in the World Hockey Association (WHA ).
