Cape Canaveral Air Force Station Launch Complex 26

Cape Canaveral AFS Launch Complex 26 (LC- 26) is a disused launch complex of the Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Merritt Iceland, Cape Canaveral, Florida, USA and consists of the two launch pads LC - 26A and LC- 26B.

The late 1950s to the early 1960s, the two launch pads have been used for testing and development flights of the Redstone and Jupiter intermediate-range missiles.

On February 1, 1958 launched from LC - 26A, the first U.S. satellite Explorer 1
