Cape Doctor

The Cape Doctor (English: The Cape Doctor, also: South Easter ) is a wind in the vicinity of Cape Town in South Africa. It acts similar to the foehn wind, and as a case is mild and dry. This scoring to the trade winds wind blows mainly from the southeast.

The Cape Doctor occurs mainly during the summer months in the southern hemisphere, starting from August / September through to March / April.

The residents of Cape Town call the wind because of its cleansing effect on the city air " Cape Doctor ". The case of wind caused by the Table Mountain, blows the industrial emissions and car traffic on the sea.
