Cape Waldron is an ice-covered cape in Antarctica, just west of the Totten Glacier. It was mapped in 1955 by GD Blodgett after U.S. Navy air photos taken during the Operation High Jump ( 1946-47 ) were recorded. It was named by the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names after RR Waldron, purser on the sloop Vincennes of the United States Exploring Expedition 1838-1842 under Lt. Charles Wilkes.
