Cappie Pondexter

Cappie Pondexter ( born January 7, 1983 in Oceanside, California, United States) is a professional basketball player. She currently plays for the New York Liberty in the Women's National Basketball Association in the position of shooting guards.

College

Cappie Pondexter played until 2006 for the women's basketball team at Rutgers University.

Women's National Basketball Association

Pondexter selected from Phoenix Mercury at the second location in the WNBA Draft, 2006. In the 2006 season she made as a rookie the leap into the Western All-Star team.
