Capul, Northern Samar
Capul is a Philippine municipality in the province of Northern Samar. It is situated on the homonymous island Capul west of the island of Samar. On Capul Spanish fort Fuerza de Capul was completed in the 18th century, it served as a control of vessel traffic and to provide early warning of the Spanish guards, when the present on raids Moropiraten, in the 18th century, were approaching the island.

Indigenous languages
The language of the inhabitants Capuls differs from the rest of the province of Northern Samar Eastern Visayas and the district. The language of the locals in Capul is the Inabaknon. Inabaknon belongs to the group of languages of the Sama - Bajawsprachen and is related to the Sama - Bajawsprachen in Mindanao, but not with the Visayassprachen.
