Carbonera, Veneto

Carbonera is a Northeast Italian municipality ( comune ) with 11,145 inhabitants (as of 31 December 2012) in the province of Treviso in Veneto. The community is located about 4 kilometers northeast of Treviso.

History

From the years 1115 and 1121 date the first mentions of Carboneras. Once in a document of a brotherhood of Cluny at the handover of a monastery and another time in a will of a Oderico of Carboneras. A well-known building is the Villa Tiepolo Passi

Economy and Transport

The firm Mayer Brown Germany produced at the site Carbonera rat poisons. Through the village runs the Autostrada A27. Only the junction Treviso Nord is partly due to the municipality.
