The Cardiff City Stadium (Welsh Dinas Caerdydd Stadiwm ) is a football and rugby stadium in Cardiff, Wales, located in the Leckwith area. It is the home of the football club Cardiff City. The Cardiff Blues rugby union team to use the stadium as a venue. In April 2009, the lawn of the brand Desso Grass Master was moved. It consists of natural grass with approximately 20 million artificial grass fibers interwoven; which increase the resilience of the lawn. Opened on 22 July 2009 stadium holds 26,828 spectators. It is after the Millennium Stadium, the second-largest sports stadium in Wales.
2014, the play-off for UEFA Super Cup will be held in Cardiff Stadium.
