Carditis

Carditis is a collective term for inflammatory diseases of the heart ( cardia ). Not to be confused with carditis which is a collective term for inflammatory conditions of the cardia.

• Pericarditis ( pericarditis )
• Myocarditis (heart muscle inflammation)
• Endocarditis ( endocarditis )
• Carditis (endo- myo- pericarditis ): carditis with participation of the three layers of the heart wall pericardium, myocardium and endocardium.
